The Phoenix Rise Commitment:  A Two-Way Partnership

This is the heartbeat of our partnership—a shared promise that transforms a professional arrangement into a supportive, collaborative journey. It’s about making sure we are both stepping in with our whole hearts, creating a space where we aren't just "coach and client," but two people working side-by-side toward your growth and success.

COACH'S COMMITMENT

What you can expect from me.

Presence

To provide a safe, non-judgmental space where the client can explore ideas, failures, and ambitions without fear of criticism.

Active Inquiry

To listen deeply—not just to the words, but to the "subtext"—and to ask powerful, open-ended questions that challenge the client’s current perspective.

Confidentiality

To uphold the highest standards of privacy, ensuring that all discussions remain strictly between the two parties (unless there is a legal or safety requirement to disclose).

Feedback

To "hold up a mirror" to the client, pointing out inconsistencies in behavior or thought patterns even when the conversation is uncomfortable.

Professional Boundaries

To remain a coach rather than a friend or consultant, maintaining the professional distance necessary to stay objective.

CLIENT'S COMMITMENT

What I can expect from you.

Self-Honesty

To be willing to look at your own weaknesses and biases. The coaching only works if you, as the client, are willing to be vulnerable about what is actually happening.

Ownership

To recognize that the coach does not provide "the answers." You are the expert on your own life and career and are responsible for making the final decisions.

Commitment To Action

To follow through on "homework" or experiments agreed upon during sessions. Growth happens in the gaps between meetings, not just during the hour of conversation.

Openness To Challenge

To arrive with a "growth mindset," being prepared to have your assumptions questioned and your comfort zone pushed.

Preparedness & Punctuality

To show up on time to each session with a specific focus or objective, rather than waiting for the coach to set the agenda.
